The referring customer may only participate in the referral program if they possess a valid GUM Playbrush app account.
A referral by a referring customer is done by sharing a discount code through sharing a link (via email or various messenger services such as WhatsApp, Facebook, etc.). The referring customer will receive the discount code via email or in the GUM Playbrush app.
A referral is considered completed only when the referred customer makes a purchase of one or more smart toothbrushes (i.e. electric toothbrush or Playbrush Smart Attachment) on the Playbrush Webshop (www.playbrush.com), using the referral code provided by the referring customer, and subsequently does not exercise their right of withdrawal within 14 days. A referral is therefore considered completed at the earliest 14 days after the purchase of the referred customer, and only from this point onwards will bonuses be delivered as per Clause 4. Purchases of upgrades or brush heads are not considered referrals.
With each completed referral, the referring customer will receive a bonus of £15 in the form of an Amazon.co.uk voucher (redeemable only on Amazon.co.uk). This bonus will be sent digitally to the registered email address of the referring customer at Playbrush. The vouchers will be delivered no later than 30 days after the end of the referral program. Cash payment of the bonus is not possible.
The referred customer will receive a 30% discount on the product price (excluding shipping costs) when purchasing smart toothbrushes. If the referred customer subscribes to a subscription or instalment payment, the discount applies exclusively to the first instalment payment.
The referral program ends on March 31st, 2024. From this date onwards, no further referrals can be made, meaning no more discount codes can be requested, and previously sent but unredeemed referral codes will become invalid.
If a customer is referred by multiple referring customers, the referral bonus will be awarded to the referring customer whose link was actually used by the referred customer during the purchase.
As a referring customer, it is possible to refer multiple customers. The referring customer must be a different person from the referred customer.
A referred customer (individual or legal entity) may redeem a discount code only once.
All referrals made through automated methods, especially through the use of macros or scripts, are invalid.
Publishing referral codes on discount platforms is prohibited.
In case of suspected violation of the stated terms and conditions of the referral program, we reserve the right to block customers, withhold bonuses, not grant discounts on Playbrush products, and reclaim bonuses or discounts already paid out from our end.
We reserve the right to suspend the referral program for individual customers at any time if we suspect that the respective customer is using the referral program for fraudulent purposes, money laundering, or any other type of illegal activity, or in violation of the stated terms and conditions.
By participating in the referral program, all participants agree to our General Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
If any provision of this agreement is or becomes legally ineffective in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The ineffective provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that comes as close as possible to the intended economic effect.
